Affiliate Marketing - An Introduction To The Easiest Way To Making Money On The Internet

If you are looking to make money on the internet then one of the easiest and most lucrative ways is Affiliate marketing.

Basically you sell other companies products for a commission ranging from 2% up to in some cases 75% of the sale price.

The range of products are as wide as your imagination most online retailers have an affiliate scheme so you can refer customers and receive a commission on items such as cameras, holidays, electrical goods or even online betting / poker sites. These tend to offer in the region of 5% commission on sales.

You can also sell a huge range of E-books or E-based products which often offer 50% upwards commission so can be very lucrative.

Most companies running an affiliate scheme will pay you a percentage of the sale price but some companies especially online casino offer you a choice

i) a standard one off payment for each new customer signing up with them or

ii) a percentage of the profits that they make from the customers you introduce to them. This can be a bit of a dilemma - take the one off payment or wait for potential future residual income - if you introduce a couple of clients who go on to become high rollers then you could be on for a number of years of a nice regular income.

Affiliate products can be marketed on your website, in your blog, or as a link in your E-mails. All you do is sign up to the programme of your choice (nearly always free to do ), you are then give an link of code which can easily be cut and pasted onto your webpage, blog or e-mail. Your customers then click on any link they are interested in and get automatically transferred to the landing site of the company who's product you are selling.

A Cookie or bookmark is automatically stored on the companies website so they can ensure that any purchase made by your customer is credited to your account. Easy!

Well, it is easy but then the question is do you want to make a few extra pounds ($'s or 's) each week or build this into a serious part-time or full time business? If it is that latter then you need to look into marketing your product, website or blog etc to reach a much wider audience. How to do this is a whole subject in its own right.
